I am a Registered Psychologist with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals, whānau, and communities.

I trained as a Forensic Psychologist in the UK and have worked as a practitioner psychologist and senior leader in prisons and probation in both the UK and Aotearoa New Zealand. I also worked as the Clinical Director for a national charity for almost a decade, leading a range of services for children, young people and families, and I have served on the Board of Directors for the Teaching Family Association and Children’s Future International.

I moved to Aotearoa in 2012, and am based in Auckland, where I live with my two teenage children. I provide services in-person and online.

SERVICES

Therapy

I provide therapy to adults (individuals and couples) and young people experiencing a wide range of concerns including trauma and complex personal histories, anxiety, depression, substance use problems, life transitions, and relationship or parenting challenges. I am also available to work with individuals who have engaged in harmful or high-risk behaviours, or might be facing engagement with the justice system.

I provide services under the ACC Sensitive Claims provision.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches (including CBT, EMDR, ACT, and Cognitive Self-Change), and I value culturally grounded, inclusive practice. I offer a safe, respectful, and collaborative working relationship for us to explore what matters most to you and to tailor therapy to your unique needs. I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to the work we will do together.
